Summer Smoothie Bowl Recipes!
If you're anything like us, there's nothing more refreshing than a cooling smoothie bowl to tuck in to on those hot days.
At the moment, it's mid-July and the UK isn't giving us the summer we'd hoped for... but we're not losing hope!
We've collated our three favourite smoothie bowl recipes for you to try, They're jam-packed with micronutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.
[Most of these recipes mention the use of our Mixed Berry protein powder, but you can also use our Cacao protein powder instead.]
Dream Blue Smoothie Bowl
This one is a strong favourite of ours with the blue spirulina giving it its vibrant colour!
- 150ml coconut milk [or your own milk of choice]
- 1 avocado
- 1 banana
- 2 tsp blue spirulina
- 1 scoop of our Mixed Berry protein powder
For the toppings:
- 1 tsp flaxseed sprinkled
- 1 kiwi
Green Goodness Smoothie Bowl
This one is full of green ingredients to give it this vibrant colour and topped off with some of our favourite toppings for extra nutrients!
- 200ml coconut milk
- 1 scoop of our Mixed Berry protein powder
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 large kiwi
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 1/4 cucumber
- a handful of spinach
For the toppings:
- 1 tsp of sprinkled flaxseed
- a handful of blueberries and blackberries
- a sprinkle of crushed cashews
Spring Smoothie Bowl
How pretty does this one look! It's a spring-vibe kinda smoothie bowl but can totally be eaten on summer days!
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 1 scoop of our Mixed Berry protein powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 200ml milk of choice
For the toppings:
- 1/2 banana
- some more strawberries (why not!)
- a tbsp of sprinkled granola
